2019 F-Pace SVR arrives

Jaguars best selling F Pace has proved to be a favourite amongst the automakers lineup, paving the way for new variants such as the E-Pace and I-Pace. As a result Jaguar felt it was time to refresh the original and hence the F-Pace SVR is here. It was first announced back in March and features a host of high performance tweaks. At the top end it features a 5.0l supercharged V8 that puts out 550hp and is capable of doing 0-60 in 4.1 seconds. Pricing will start at $79,990.

I like that they reduced body roll but I was hoping for more of an adaptive system.
Being able to throw one of these around the turns with confidence will do the F-Pace justice, too much body roll can hinder that.

I'm hoping with this model and the new Project 8, that means we'll be seeing a bunch of new high performance trims for Jaguar's sedans. Imo the latest XE 300 Sport, still falls a bit short of rivals like the M3.

JLR as a whole wants to bring out more, even with RR as SVR products.
The Velar should be a pivotal one that also has a positive influence on the F-Pace even if its just to mitigate cost let alone to share performance.

The 300 Sport is really just a styling package for the XE, as nothing has been done under the hood. But Jaguar has already said that they are working on a new Project 9.

There are also some rumors that RR is currently developing their first 'car' with the code name Roadrover. Looks like the company is looking to expand upon their lineup across the board and that could mean that they'll revisit the XS.

I like that move because it opens JLR to doing things to a sedan that just won't look right with a Jaguar badge. If it actually happens we could see products to the effect of what Mercedes and Audi sell. Jaguar has always been more driver focused, like BMW.

I don't know if you guys saw but Lister has always taken a swing at the F Pace, and they've managed to tweak it to 670hp. That brings it to 60mph in just 3.5 seconds and it'll probably have a stop speed of more than 300km/h.

Lister always delivers with their performance packages and with the interest in SUV's as of late it makes sense that they are developing kits for the F Pace. If it does deliver on that top speed it'll even outclass the new Lamborghini Urus.

I wish Jaguar would kick off a tuning division so we don't have to venture out to aftermarket companies.

They already do something similar for classic cars, can't be that hard to integrate systems for new models.
