Higher Performance than the XJR575?
 

Now that we're stepping into a new generation of the XJ the door opens to quite a few possibilities and one of the many is a high performing version that turns out more numbers than the current XJR575. If they want to keep rivaling Mercedes, Audi, BMW and even Lexus... this is a route to consider.

What this might be like? Look no further than the Jaguar XE Project 8....

Yes I can see something similar to Project 8 happening because already there was an i-Pace model that had something similar going on. Its a first look at what Jaguar has in store for the AMG's of this world, but just not the lower end AMG's but the super high performance versions.

if you're right about targeting AMG do you think some more aftermarket companies will offer packages like they do for the German brands? already the F-Type, F-Pace and XE seem worthy of that approach but haven't got it yet.

Kahn Design has been into British cars for a while now and might be up for offering that level of customization because if you look at what they do right now its just about in that whole league, but they have more focus on exterior design.
